Super Heroines endeavors to review the latest novels, and I'm always delighted to receive review copies from publishers and authors. Let's face it, who wouldn't be? I love books. Way too much. If you'd like to send in a review request, here's what you need to know...
Timing
Because I like books too much, I have a never-ending TBR pile that's the size of Everest which will probably be ongoing for the rest of my life. Don't try to rescue me. I like it that way. But that does mean that I can't accept every book I'm sent.
In a perfect world, I would spend all day every day reading and reviewing in a spacious, old library – possibly on a chaise longue, wine in hand – but alas, my full-time day job, not to mention my own writing, often prevents me from doing so. So please don't be offended if I am unable to review at that time.
What to Send
Super Heroines covers women's fiction of all kinds - I especially love contemporary fiction, crime, mystery, thrillers and wartime historical fiction focusing on women. I also review YA now and again.
I accept hard copies of novels and e-books, too. If you would like to send or suggest a book for review, do get in touch.
Ratings
Reviews posted on this blog are fair and constructive wherever possible. As a writer myself I am aware of how much time and hard work is dedicated to writing a novel. This blog aims to celebrate the work of authors, not put it down. That said, if I don't enjoy a book, I will explain why, and will do so honestly.
